Small dogs have BIG needs! We understand the importance of providing socialization, exercise, stimulation, and loving attention with positive reinforcement.

Exclusive Park Outing!

Without additional charge to you, and as an option ,we offer our exciting park outing. Your pet will be excited to "go bye-bye" and weather permitting we're off to a small dog park! Your pet will enjoy the sights and sounds of the great outdoors in a different setting, breaking up the day, playing, socializing, exercising and bonding with his or her daycare members. 

Neighborhood Walk Instead?  

If you would prefer not to have your pet taken out to a local small dog park for an outing, you can opt for a neighborhood walk, weather permitting.  Your pet will be taken along with 1-2 other member's for a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood, excercising, sniffing, snorting, and exploring ON LEASH. No additional charge.

Zip, Nada, Nothing, Instead? 

If due to concerns, or temperment you would perfer your pet not be taken to a local park, or go for a neighborhood walk, it's all good.  There's plenty to do at the daycare! From romping around the daycare, playing and socializing, to exploring the secure fenced backyard, complete with digging pit. No bones about it, it's all fabo!

ALL activites are supervised no pet is left unattended during any part of their daycare day.

Daily nap time for all daycare members is from 1-2PM. This allow's your pet to self regulate, wind down from all of the activities, and relax.  Nap time is very important . Your pet is placed in a kennel, along with a favorite buddy, the daycare is quite, it's lights out. While you are welcome to visit the daycare at anytime UNANNOUCED we ask you not visit during nap time.

Reinforcing Good Manner's

At  RUFF 'N READY little Doggy Daycare we understand the importance of continuing to reinforce basic commands, and rewarding good behavior. We will continue to work with you and your pet in our daycare reinforcing the commands your pet has been taught. We utilize only positive reinforcement methods as taught by Ian Dunbar and Jean Donaldson the leader's and foremost authorities of positive dog training and dog behavior in the nation.  We use only time outs, and verbal corrections for naughty behavior. Time outs are limited to no more than 5 minutes in a kennel.

PRIVATE BOARDING: The perfect ending to a fun filled day.

Your pets home away from home. Our guests relax in a mature, quite, comfortable home.

Since 1994 we have been boarding pets, and have over a decade of experience. Private boarding is unlike any other boarding, It truly is your pets home away from home. Unless crate trained we do not use kennels, or crates. Your pet is treated as a valued family member with complete run of the house. Breakfast is served at 7:30AM, dinner at 6PM, and a bedtime snack is the norm. Your pet can relax by the fireplace, curl up on a sofa, or comfy chair with us, watch T.V., or snooze, until bedtime. Picking out the best place in the house to sleep is a favorite search for our boarders and while many opt to sleep in Jerry's bed with him, some love the sofa or chair. Its up to your pet. Many of our customers refer to their pets boarding as "staying with Uncle Jerry and David".
